Ayazma Istanbul Europe / Bashakshehir

Ayazma region is one of the main development centers in the city, which is located in Başakşehir district in West Istanbul. From the north it passes the TEM motorway and from the south it passes the E5 motorway, which is also one of the city’s main transportation pillars. On the western border, on the north-south axis, is the Passen Express Road Pioneers. This will be achieved in the area between the Olympic village of Ataturk in the west and the organized industrial zone of Ekiteli in the east. The valley extends along the north-south axis to the Kucuk Lake, forming a strong topographic threshold for both the project area and the reaction area of ​​the project.

Project Standards:

Residential structures come together not only to form the faces of cities, but also to determine the life of the citizen. Settlement decisions, mass proportions of buildings, the relationship between land and street and each other, the balance between structure and open space, internal organizations, the extent of their support by elements of social reinforcement, and relations with the city center are important. The Ayazma project, as a residential campus, promises to give its users the neighborhood relationships we crave. This novel, based on human-to-human communication, aims at controlled but real social communication covering the entire campus, starting from common areas in homes. The terraces, where common use and specialization are found in high masses, allow the continuation of green in the higher elevations. Outdoor and indoor sports areas, cafes, children’s playgrounds and activity areas will be a haven for users to breathe at an intense pace in city life and meeting places to meet. Most importantly, this imagination provides a definition of belonging to campus users. Squares, streets, squares and gardens are divided by building blocks and green floors formed at different heights, and the structural features and relationship that binds them to their environment differentiate them from their counterparts. This project responds to the city not by the walls of the deaf, but from the ground with different areas from one to the other. On campus, the landscape continues on the ground, covering the spaces and buildings, as well as the upper and middle floors of the buildings. In this way, while common areas are transferred to buildings, the natural conditioning effect of water and trees is used. While high-rise blocks on land walls near the rapid flow of land are formed by the program and shell to respond to this flow, the blocks fall in the neighborhood’s taste with traditional architecture and gradual green courtyards, with traditional low and sloping architecture, which follow the terrain Natural land. With rolling streets, large courtyards, pedestrian pavements, bicycle paths and uninterrupted pedestrian links within the island, users’ access to all directions is designed as multi-layered. All structural software buildings can be accessed via internal access roads that correspond to terrain. There are parking entrances associated with the road from all over the island. Parking is closed. Pedestrian traffic was liberated by providing access to control vehicles on campus. The social areas that are partially solved using the ramp aim to meet the social and sporting needs of the campus to become a common activity area and meeting point. Indoor swimming pool, fitness, sports fields, children’s playgrounds, and life-enhancing spaces have been created.
